DEVELOPING AN ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL SECURITY INDEX FOR EURO-ATLANTIC AREA COUNTRIES: A PANEL DATA ANALYSIS

The concepts of economic and social security are very complex dynamic, closely related to many new challenges that characterize today’s societies. Our research aims at investigating the considering current vulnerabilities, using an integrated multicriteria approach this issue, taking into account five pillars (dimensions): demographic, climate, globalization, ITC adaptation, social, economic. Based on these dimensions, we developed Economic Social Security Index across Euro-Atlantic countries found European Union (EU) is better positioned compared other country-groups analysed. Furthermore, estimated effects duration schooling climate degradation growth, by Panel EGLS method over period 2010–2019, results obtained for EU ones groups in EuroAtlantic space: neighbours candidate/potential candidate Eastern neighbourhood countries. We a positive impact which greater registering high levels socio-economic security, effect varying depending quality education. In terms CO2 emissions negative impact, one year lag.
